That's an awful lot of information to take-in, in one sitting.  However, much of it is intuitive and stuff that most people would think of anyway.  But, as often as not, we are not even aware of some of the concerns that face us when dealing with new situations.  And buying on-line, for most of us, is a pretty new thing.  Since the act of buying on-line is pretty new to a great many of us, we need to understand ourselves and how we interact in the on-line business community.  The rules are pretty simple and, for all intents and purposes, mimic the way you do business anywhere...
