CANNONDALE TEAM COMP - INTRODUCTION

Though I live within an hour's drive of the United States, very few US bicycles have come my way.  Three Treks, two Cannondales and a couple of American made Raleighs, complete the list.

As mentioned, few aluminum framed bicycles have come my way, since I began collecting vintage road bicycles.  My Cannondale Team Comp, probably of mid eighties vintage, was the first to arrive, and came to me exactly as it is in the pictures.  I spent an entire season riding the bicycle, to and from work, not to mention just about everywhere else, that came to mind.  The Team Comp and I shared nearly four and a half thousand miles together that year.  Some good and some not so good!
