198? SEKINE MR300 - INTRODUCTION

Sekine bicycles were manufactured in at least two different countries, Japan and Canada.  This absolutely beautiful, and little used Sekine MR300, is of Asian origin, well built and nicely finished.  Featuring a full Shimano 105 matched grouppo, the bike not only looks good but it is easy to use and a joy to ride.

Other post Canadian Sekine Sekines have come and gone through The Old Shed.  The entry level Tornado, followed by the more sophisticated Verona, come immediately to mind.  An MR200, or two, have also, come and gone.  But not one of those other vintage Asian Sekine road bicycles could hold a candle to this gorgeous MR300.
