APOLLO GRAN TOURISTE - INTRODUCTION
I believe that Apollo bicycles were imported from Japan, in
the early seventies, in an effort to accommodate the bike boom, that
occurred back then. Fred Deeley might have been
the importer, basing
his business out of Vancouver. The oldest Apollo, I have seen, was
fitted with a nice old head badge, bearing the Deeley name. However,
I have no evidence to back up any of those statements. I have
