PINARELLO TREVISIO - INTRODUCTION A PLEASURE TO RIDE BUT LACKED VINTAGE FEEL My nineties something Pinarello Trevisio, one of two that I have owned and ridden, is one very nice bicycle to ride. It is smooth, responsive and everything works just right. Easy shifts, predictable braking, minimal input handling. But, the bicycle just didn't feel quite right. It lacked the Old School feel. It was too easy to ride and I always felt the need to ride it fast. To that, add the fact the Trevisio might have been a bit small for me, although the jury is still out on that issue. There were so many different things to experience, on this wonderful late vintage Italian bicycle, that I am not sure I could ever make a fair comparison, to bikes I am more accustomed to. What I do know is that the Pinarello came to me, at the wrong time, and for too much money invested. We all have to do reality checks, from time to time, and that is when this gorgeous old bicycle showed up. During a time, in my life, when I was into a serious reality check scenario.
