BIANCHI "REKORD 841d" - INTRODUCTION

The eighties something Italian Bianchi 841d was in incredible shape "as found".  Very close to mint.  Absolutely complete and original, the Bianchi looked as if it had been used for a small part of a single season, and then stored until I managed to coax it from its secret hiding place, where it had sat for over twenty years - untouched.

I have been lucky enough to own and ride several Bianchi road bicycles.  From a distinctly vintage Bianchi Sprint given to me for volunteer work done to a nineties something full Campy Bianchi Trofeo complete with Ergo transmission.  Of them all, the ride and feel of the Bianchi 841d was unmatched.  Though I did have to set the tilt of the saddle to my liking, rather than the previous owner's.
