BUILDING THE MOTOBECANE INTER CLUB

The only thing that I did to the Motobecane Inter Club was give it a careful inspection to ensure that it was safe to ride.  The bicycle was pretty much immaculate in both the mechanical and cosmetic departments.  The old bicycle sifted well and stopped on a dime (at least at the speeds I achieved riding it alone).  Other than the thorough inspection, I did absolutely nothing to impart mechanical refurbishment.  Unless, of course, you count pressurizing the tires which were still in excellent condition.

I did complete a bit more of an inspection of the bicycle when I disassembled it for packing and shipping to a fellow and his daughter in the USA.  In spite of the mismatched componentry, the bicycle proved to be sturdy and well assembled.  Other than that, I cannot really comment on any sort of build.
