PEUGEOT "COURSE PB12" - INTRODUCTION

This eighties something (probably 1986), Peugeot Course PB 12 was in incredible condition "as found".  The bicycle appeared to have been very little used and never abused.  And, judging from the cosmetics, it had never been allowed to experience careless storage either.  The beautiful old Peugeot was very close to being in mint condition.

Only one other vintage road bicycle has surfaced, "as found", in nicer shape - a Canadian made Gardin 400.  Had the PB12 been a good fit, it would have immediately been added to my collection of high end, Canadian made vintage road bicycles.  However, the Peugeot was much too big for me and, after only a few memorable rides, the PB12 was listed for auction on Ebay.  This beautiful old road bike now resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Two other PB 12's have come my way but neither could match the beauty or preserved condition of this beautiful old bicycle.  And of those two other Peugeots - one was too big and the other too small.
