198? NORCO MAGNUM GT - INTRODUCTION

Norco bicycles were built in Canada, for many years, and the brand is still offered in many Canadian bicycle shops.  In all honesty, few Norco bicycles have managed to impress me.  But the ones that do impress, my Norco Magnum SE and this Magnum GT, are indeed nice bicycles and warrant considerable attention as both collectible and ride able bicycles.

The lovely touring bicycle, or perhaps touring bicycle wanna-be, featured here, is just such a bicycle.  Very well made, nicely finished and elegant in its paint color and art choices, the Norco GT is one of the bicycles that all but belongs in a Canadian collection of vintage road bicycles.
