2000 MARINONI SQUADRA - INTRODUCTION Though hardly a vintage road bicycle, the Marinoni Squadra is, none the less, my daily rider. The bicycle is well made, in the Marinoni tradition, fitted with a very "user friendly" Shimano 105 nine speed component grouppo, and finished in subtle colors, suggesting an elegance that is, in fact, a part of the bicycle. The Canadian made Marinoni is one of the few Canadian made road bicycles that has achieved world wide recognition. Few people, in other countries, are aware of Norco, or CCM or even Miele. But the name Marinoni, is spoken world wide, and quite well, in vintage road bicycle circles these days. Since the mid-seventies, Marinoni bicycles have proved their worth. This 1976 Marinoni "Quebec" is an example of the earliest made, and a wonderful bicycle to own and ride. The Marinoni is fast becoming one of the most desirable vintage racing bicycles available in Canada. NEXT - FINDING THE 2000 MARINONI SQUADRA
